Akosua Foundation - Web
The Akosua Foundation based in the Netherlands provide financial support to us to enable us to send children to mainstream education. All education in Ghana must be paid for. Without the help of the Akosua Foundation we would not be able to send children to mainstream school. Akosua have also paid for a new school bus and support us in many other ways.
NPAC - Nottinghamshire Police Aid Convoys - Web
The NPAC provide aid from the UK to our project. So far they have provided beds, toys, sofas, educational equipment and so much more. The Ghana support officer is Sarah Smithurst who is a great support to our work.

Volunteer 4 Africa (V4A) is a non-profit organisation that disseminates information about volunteer opportunities and the wish lists of host organisations and charities.

Schools / University Partners
Lordswood Girls School, Birmingham - Web
Lordswood Girls School has developed teaching materials and packs for volunteers who attend the project. They have also helped raise funds for the UCC and continue to be a key partner to our work. Karen Tooley is head of Art at the school and is also one of our trustees.
Canterbury Christ Church University - Web
Each year, as part of the Primary Education programme at the university, a number of students have their placement at the centre where they teach, live and learn with the children. Many students have returned to the centre outside of their course and raised considerable funds for the work of the UCC. |
